What is the internet?
The Internet is a combination of interconnected paths of a worldwide computer, through which it is possible to easily connect with different parts of the world and exchange information.
You can send and collect any item from here to there through a post that can be compared to the post office on the internet.
However, it is possible to send a digital file from one end of the world to the other in a matter of seconds through the Internet.
There is a rule for connecting to the Internet network and computers and other devices known as (TCP / IP). That is, each network has a specific address. And the data is transferred to that address.
How the Internet works
All devices connected to the Internet have a specific address known as an IP address.
Whenever a computer wants to communicate with a specific computer, it is possible to communicate by going to that specific address.
Basically everything we do in our daily lives is done through the internet. For example, watching videos on YouTube, doing Facebook, getting tickets online, almost everything is done through the internet.
In the past, if a railway person paid a line to buy a ticket, he would give the ticket. But now it is possible to buy tickets at home by connecting directly to the railway computer through internet.
Used only to connect one device to another. Which is known as optical fiber cable.
Computers and other devices in any country, such as mobile phones, are connected via a side cable operator or a network.
In this way the devices within a country are connected.
Optical fiber cable is then used to connect that country with other countries and continents. Those bullets are connected to other countries through the bottom of the sea.
The optical fiber cable is laid under the sea and from one end of the cable to the other end of the country.
And so the Internet is available in almost every country in the world.
For example, if a computer from America is connected to Japan. That is exactly what will happen. It can be connected to a computer or any other device in Japan, first through a local cable or wireless network in the United States, then under the Pacific Ocean, through a local network in Japan.
And in this way one country is connected with another country through internet.
Lots of optical fiber cables have been laid on the seabed in the world. I gave the picture of the complete cable map. Take a look

How do we watch videos through the internet? Or we can chat.
Here is an example of who is being taken on YouTube or Facebook. When we watch video online on mobile or computer, our computer brings the video file from YouTube computer (server) to our mobile or computer through internet and we can watch this video on our device.
Similarly, when a photo is uploaded to Facebook, that photo is stored on Facebook's computer (server). And when I or someone else sees that photo, that phone comes to our phone from Facebook's server which is through internet.
When the other two chat on Facebook, the text of that chat is stored on Facebook's server (computer). And another person can see the text from Facebook's server (computer) through the Internet.
What is KB, MB, GB, why do SIM companies charge for specific GB or MB of data?
When we watch a video on the internet, that video file is downloaded from our mobile. Which is temporarily stored in ram (random access memory).
So if the video file is 1 MB then that 1MB video file will be downloaded to the mobile temporarily. And the amount of this download is monitored by the SIM card company.
If you have recharged for 1 MB download, then 1 MB data transfer by 1MB download or watching video, SIM company will stop your internet facility. And you can't use the internet unless you're recharging.
When you chat on Facebook or upload a photo, the data is transferred according to the size of the photo. And the amount of data you recharge will continue to decrease.
Here KB, MB, GB is the unit of amount of data.
Where 1 GB means 1024 MB and 1MB is equal to 1024, KB.
Why do network companies or just companies charge for internet usage?
The Internet is a device connecting one end of the globe to the other, or to all the devices in the world through which we can easily communicate with each other.
But why Internet companies do not have money for this?
This is because the internet companies spend a lot of money on optical fiber cable for the sea floor and to connect with other countries.
It also costs a lot to bring the Internet to your mobile or computer. Not only this, with the help of this tool you can do a lot of maintenance and you can save a lot of money on your mobile or laptop computer.
A certain amount is charged for connecting to the Internet.
Although companies charge you when you transfer data.
Who owns the internet?
The Internet is not owned by a single person.
Internet cables have been laid by different companies in different parts of the world. So no one owns all the optical fiber cables. So no one owns the internet.
For example, Google has laid out some optical fiber cables. Some Japanese companies have spread the Internet in areas adjacent to Japan.
Why the Internet is slow
One of the reasons why the internet is slow is that the internet is slow when more users use the internet and all the users transfer it through the same cable.
Or when there is a problem with an ocean submarine that goes through another submarine cable for which if the other submarine cable turns around a lot and reaches the mine you do not want to be connected then it may take a little longer which may be slow. .
Or if you transfer data to a remote server, the Internet may be slower for world distances.
For example, if you want to see some data from a Japanese server on your phone, it will take a little longer for a long distance than if you want to access the US server.
Internet via satellite
Nowadays technology is slowly evolving and internet services are improving.
The Internet has not yet reached all corners of the globe. In some remote areas the network has not yet reached here. Not only that, the cost of accessing the internet through the bottom of the sea is much higher.
So at present work is being done to provide internet service through satellite. Although the internet service by satellite is being used now but in some places but the speed of internet by satellite is very low.
The main reason behind the low speed is that the satellite is far away from the earth and it takes a long time to reach the earth from any data satellite so the internet is a bit slow by the satellite.
Although most of us do not use this satellite's stream internet. But for the future, Internet service is being improved by satellite.
One of the two companies is Starlink, founded by Elon Musk and OneWeb.
Starlink is an American company and OneWeb is an English company.
There are also many companies working to provide internet via satellite.
The main purpose of these companies is to bring fast internet to all places where internet could not be reached through cable or any other network but also in urban areas where internet speed is slow.
The company will send more satellites into space to provide faster internet and the speed of internet will increase as the satellites will be as close to the earth as possible.
